Joining the Suns – Your New Beginning: As a prospective member, you’re about to embark on an exciting journey. Our club, established in 2016, has quickly ascended in the Townsville AFL scene, and we’re eager for you to be part of our continued growth and success.
Club History: Our club was born from the merger of two respected teams: the Townsville City Lions and the Northern Beaches Barras. This union formed a strong foundation for our club, which has seen rapid success, including our Under 15’s securing a maiden premiership in our very first year. With over 250 registered players, we’re a testament to the love and dedication for AFL in our community.

Training and Development: Our training sessions at the Green are designed to cater to all skill levels. With senior teams training from 5:30 pm and junior programs starting at 4:30 pm, there’s a spot for everyone. Our experienced coaches are committed to fostering your skills, understanding of the game, and overall fitness.

U17, Reserves, Seniors and Womens – Starts 5.30pm
Thursday Nights:
AUSKICK, U9.5, U11.5 – 4.30PM
U13.5 U14.4G, U15.5 & 17.5G -Starts 5PM
U17, Reserves, Seniors and Womens – Starts 5.30pm

Registrations:
Registrations will open on Sunday 14th of Jan 2024 for Seniors.
Juniors can register after the 1st of February 2024.
