Junior Rego 2024

Junior Registrations are now Open!

G’day Northern Beaches Suns AFL Club families,

We’re excited to let you know that junior registrations are now open via PlayHQ! Getting your young footy stars signed up is easy – just head over to our website and click the registration link.

This year, we’ve streamlined our PlayHQ organisations into one, making things simpler in the long run. But for this season, we need all existing junior members to complete a quick transfer process during registration. Don’t worry, it’s straightforward and part of the same registration link.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Visit our website and click on the registration link.
  2. Follow the prompts to start the registration process. You’ll reach a page that initiates the transfer process – just click ‘Get Started’.
  3. Next, you’ll see the ‘Request to Play’ screen. Read the information, then click ‘Submit Request to Play’.
  4. You’ll then receive a confirmation that your transfer request has been sent. Our Registrar and AFL Townsville will be on top of approvals, so sit tight until you receive an email confirming the transfer. This could take up to 24 – 48 hours.
  5. Once the transfer is confirmed, you’ll receive an email with instructions to complete your registration.

We’ve also added a new payment option – Paypal in 4, for more flexibility. Just a heads-up, if you encounter an error, you might need to log into your Paypal account and update some details, like your birth date. Then, you can go ahead and select the Paypal in 4 option again.

We are accepting new and returning players for boys and girls in all age groups.

NOTE: Please note we are not yet excepting new registrations in the U13.5 boys pending confirmation of returning numbers.

Any questions call Dan Bales via our Contacts Page.

We’re here to help if you have any questions. Thanks for being part of the Northern Beaches Suns family – let’s make this season a cracker!

Inspiring the Next Generation of AFL Stars at Northern Beaches Suns Development Squad

“Townsville’s Game Changer: The Northern Beaches Suns Launch a Groundbreaking AFL Academy”

The Northern Beaches Suns AFL Club is buzzing with excitement as they unveil the Northern Beaches Suns Development Squad, a pioneering program set to revolutionise the AFL scene in Townsville. This initiative isn’t just a sports program; it’s a beacon of hope and opportunity for young athletes aspiring to reach the pinnacle of AFL and AFLW.

Led by the esteemed coaches from the Sun’s senior squad, including the inspirational Cam Fielding, the dynamic Zack Sleeth, and the formidable David Hedlam, the Academy is tailored for aspirants aged 13 to 19. It stands as a crucial link in the journey from junior to senior levels, potentially catapulting talents to the professional stages of AFL.
